::: THE AUTHORS :::

Since 2004 the Italian filmmaker Nina Mair and the German TV-journalist Robert Jahn produce independent social documentaries as well as reports and series for German public TV. They formed Libellulafilm - an authorspool situated in Leipzig (Germany), that is focusing on social and environmental topics.

There first joined feature length documentary “Libertà” dealt with the anti-Berlusconi Pirate-TV movement in Italy. It was premiered at the “Festival dei Popoli” in Firence and later traveled to other festivals in Germany, Italy, Austria and Mexico.


Nina and Robert have been working for over 10 years on various TV formats (reports for foreign affairs shows, historic and art documentaries as well as documentaries on current issues.) for all major German public TV channels. (mainly MDR / ARTE / ZDF). They have been working and producing on 4 continents in over 50 countries.


::: NINA MAIR ::: was born in Milan, Italy, in 1980. She studied at Bozen documentary film school (directing and project development) from 2001 until 2004. Since 2004, she has lived in Germany to work for film and TV.


::: ROBERT JAHN ::: Born in 1979 in Dresden (Germany). He studied journalism in Leipzig from 1999 until 2006. 2004/05 internship at the ZDF. Since 2002 he has worked as a reporter for the MDR and ARTE and as a producer.
